Eyebrow transplant

What is Eyebrow Transplantation?

Eyebrow transplantation is an advanced cosmetic procedure offered at International Hair Clinic that restores or enhances eyebrow density and shape through the precise placement of hair grafts. This minimally invasive technique uses the FUE method to extract thin grafts, typically from the back of the ears, and transplant them to areas of the eyebrows where hair is sparse or missing due to factors such as trauma, over-plucking, or natural thinning. Performed under local anesthesia, the procedure is virtually painless after the initial administration and typically takes a few hours to complete. The results are natural and long-lasting, tailored to each patient’s facial structure and aesthetic preferences.

At International Hair Clinic, we ensure personalized care and expert attention to help clients achieve their desired look with confidence.

How is Eyebrow Transplantation Done?

Eyebrow transplant operation is the same as hair transplantation. Since the number of grafts to be transferred is small, it takes a shorter time (2-3 hours). It is performed under local anaesthesia. Local anaesthesia is applied to the patient twice before transplantation.

Although minimal pain is felt during the anaesthesia procedure, the patient does not feel any pain after applying it. This helps the patient to have a comfortable root transfer without feeling anything during the operation.

Are the results permanent?

The results of an eyebrow transplant are permanent. Since the transplanted hair follicles are taken from areas of the scalp that are genetically resistant to hair loss, they continue to grow throughout your life. The transplanted hair will not fall out over time like natural eyebrow hair might. However, because the hair grows like scalp hair, you may need to trim it periodically to maintain the desired eyebrow shape and length. Once the transplanted hairs settle in and grow, the results provide a natural, long-lasting enhancement to your eyebrows.

Is eyebrow transplant painful?

Eyebrow transplant procedures are generally not painful because they are performed under local anesthesia, which numbs the treatment area. During the procedure, patients typically experience no discomfort, though some mild pressure or sensation may be felt. After the anesthesia wears off, there may be slight discomfort, swelling, or tenderness in the treated areas, but this is usually temporary and can be managed with over-the-counter pain medications. Most patients report minimal pain or irritation during the recovery period.

Who is Eligible for Eyebrow Transplantation?

Eyebrow transplant operation can be applied to anyone who may need this operation. The following reasons are among the most common reasons for those who demand eyebrow transplant surgery today.
  • Those who are not satisfied with their eyebrows’ appearance, whose eyebrows are sparse: Eyebrow shape and rarity is generally a genetic factor, but it may also have occurred as a result of applications like incorrect eyebrow removal procedures. Eyebrow transplantation will be a permanent solution for our patients who complain about this problem.
  • People with eyebrow loss problems: some diseases, medication treatments, wrong makeup applications cause eyebrows to fall off. The patient will be permanently relieved of this problem, with the eyebrow transplant operation will take 2-3 hours.
